who have unpublished scholarly papers to allow others access
to them so as to permit comments and feedback on the papers, as well
as encourage their eventual publication in final form through usual channels
(e.g. refereed journals). From the perspective of the latter, it is hoped
that not only will the papers be read by regular site visitors, but also
by editors of journals, and publishers.
